A Registered Tax Agent, with over twenty years of experience in public practice, Coral belongs to the Institute of Public Accountants and knows the reality of life, living, and Financial Planning. Coral looks beyond the obvious, and strives to ensure you get help with the best possible strategies to achieve optimum outcomes in Taxation Benefits.

Coral is focused on the individual needs of each client, and aims to appropriately translate technical and complex accounting terms into a simple language.  Coral has recently been published, contributing her expertise to a chapter in Andrew Crossley’s “Property Investing Made Simple”, and constantly strives to further her knowledge and credentials.

Coral has untold professional experience in marketing, television, real estate and sales, all of which add to her comprehension of your industry and situation, whether she’s providing assistance for business start-ups, general compliance, business development, or property investment. She’s certainly not your typical accountant stereotype.

Coral’s has a great passion for small business and business advisory, and her clients warm quickly to her caring and motherly approach , resulting in the development of strong, long-term business relationships that have resulted in her clients attaining successful money-related outcomes.

Coral is, also, an avid green thumb and the proud mum of two gorgeous daughters.


Craig Bull – Senior Accountant

Craig has joined us at Knox Tax, and comes with a wealth of accounting knowledge and technical expertise, coupled with a strong team spirit, and pride in his professional mandate to be responsive and proactive with all of his clients.

Craig is Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA), and holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), with further qualifications in Finance (SMSF) and Economics.  Craig’s nine years of experience in public practice include specialisation in multiple areas for Tier Two Accounting firms, and he’s an absolute whiz at helping clients with any Cloud Accounting and software issues relating to their tax.

You’ll find Craig to be highly approachable, relatable, and attentive – and there’s no such thing as a silly question in his book.  He encourages everyone around him to understand what is required, what options may be available to solve problems, and he’s entirely systematic about getting the job done properly across all areas of Taxation.  And he’s here to help you with sound Business Advice as well.

Craig has a quick sense of humour, and is currently grinning from ear to ear after seeing Richmond take out the flag – and you don’t need to be a mathematician to understand why!  He loves a spot of tennis and counts his Border Collie, Max, and his Australian Terrier, Toto, as his kids (for the time being, at least).

We’re very excited to have Craig on our team at Knox Tax, and for very good reason.  He’s a fantastic new asset to our friendly family of staff.


Simon Kingdom – Senior Accountant

Simon is no stranger to numbers and has extensive experience in the area of Business Advisory. Qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant, and with a background of sixteen years of extensive and high level experience, in the UK, Simon can cater for any of your Accounting and Business Advisory needs.

Simon has not only worked as a Chief Accountant for multiple years, he’s also a qualified chef, he has a passion for Neural Linguistic Programming (NLP), and he enjoys traveling and sharing his hilarious sense of humour.

Don’t be surprised if you hear Simon’s contagious laugh reverberate through our offices. But, likewise, don’t be fooled – he’s a very clever man who just happens to have a delightful personality.



Judy Poulter – Senior Accountant

Our delightful Senior Accountant, Judy, has been with us for more than twenty years!  In addition to taking care of our Self-Managed Super Funds, Judy is responsible for many of our individual client portfolios, dealing with Company Partnerships and Trusts, and the preparation of Entity and Personal Tax Returns.  She’s highly competent and organised in all respects, and thrives on developing a nurturing relationship with everyone who crosses her path.

Away from the office, you’ll find Judy in her beloved garden one minute, and following her two daughters’ interests in ballroom dancing and study the next.  And then there’s her quirky fascination for noisy, V8 drag cars, and her dream of eventually owning a Corvette Stingray.  It won’t happen overnight…. But she’s determined that it will happen some day!

Judy’s bubbly personality, her dedication to great customer service, and her orderly and systematic work processes, make her a highly-valued asset to both our clients, and to the company.


Kyle Adams – Accountant

Kyle, a Qualified Accountant, joined us at Knox Tax in 2016.  Having come from a previous firm of Chartered Accountants, Kyle brings his love of dealing with people and a broad range of fundamental skills in general accounting and other administrative matters.  Kyle’s main role is to support our more experienced Accountants.  He also works in with our Bookkeeping team to support you in getting a handle on how to best utilise your bookkeeping software.

Kyle has a ready smile and a willingness to help as many of our clients as possible and you’ll now find him in our Knox Tax office on a full-time basis.  He’s a keen drummer and musician, not to mention a budding golfer on the weekends – and driven to match his coach’s claim to fame as a Hole-in-one Champion.


Megan Peake – Office Manager

Extremely competent, and a valuable member of our team, Megan has been with us for over a decade.  She’s the “go to girl” for almost everything in the office.
Megan promotes the smooth running of the practice, whether that involves maintenance of our IT systems, co-ordinating staff training, or keeping on top of ASIC Lodgments and BankLink files.  She’s adept at assisting with the preparation of client Business Activity Statements (BAS), entity formations, Business Registrations, and Income Tax Returns, as well.

All that and more, Megan is our Health and Safety Officer, for which we are eternally grateful, given that she was formerly a Divisional Superintendent of St. John’s Ambulance.

Full of devotion and enthusiasm, at Knox Tax, Megan also loves to socialise, in-amongst keeping up with her daughters, her passion for cake decorating, and baking.


Steph Varga – Director of First Impressions

Say hello to our Receptionist, Steph!  Steph has a wealth of experience in understanding exactly the right person to refer you to, having spent over two years in a larger Accounting firm before joining us.

Steph loves being a part of our fun-loving team and particularly enjoys greeting our regular clients.  She grew up in our local area with her close-knit group of friends and family, so she’s no stranger to leafy Boronia.

Whilst Steph’s official title is Receptionist , you’ll find she’s always on-the-ball and willing to assist you with administrative questions where possible.  She’s calm and just inside the front door at Knox Tax, and ready to meet you with a smile.


Kylie Ives – Bookkeeping & Administration

Kylie has been a Bookkeeper for the past fifteen years, and is your liaison for help with either setting up your bookkeeping strategies from scratch, and/or to give you regular assistance in maintaining your systems throughout the year.  Kylie and our Bookkeeping team will work with you to select the appropriate software package that best suits you, teach you how to steer it, and help to ensure your accounting records are streamlined, and able to be clearly and easily interpreted at tax time.

Kylie is also ably adept at providing Office Management and Accounts Payable assistance.  She’s ultra-organized and attentive to detail – and our much appreciated quiet achiever.

Being such a lovely person, who’s willing to take on any task, we’re delighted to have Kylie as a very welcome member of our close-knit Knox Tax team.


Julie Adams – Administrative Officer

Julie is the Queen of our Accounts Receivable. She builds fabulous relationships with clients through her innate and exceptional ability to not only listen to, but understand their needs. Dedicated, passionate, and prone to having a tidy fetish, we all appreciate and love her attention to detail, and the systematic care she takes of our expansive filing system.

Julie’s motherly and nurturing demeanor, and her ‘can do’ attitude, are also invaluable to our team, especially now as she embarks on the road of trying to make us “paperless”. Go Julie!
